What should I know about using videos from a public computer?

videos uses persistent cookies, which means that depending on the security settings of your browser, you'll stay logged on even if you close your browser. If you're using a shared or public computer, remember to log off after you're done enjoying the site.

How do videos get featured?

Members rate videos they like, and we review highly-rated and recent videos for consideration in the "Featured Videos" section of the home page and the featured videos on the "Categories" page. In addition, our moderation team takes suggestions from members at editor@videos.com and scans the site for videos of interest.

How do I join?

To become a member of videos, click the Account Info tab, choose a username and password, and enter your information. Then click the "Register" button and you're done.

How do I upload a Video?

Click on the Upload tab and Login using your Username and Password. If you don't have a Username and Password? Fill in the New User information and click the "Create Account" button. Fill out the Video Information form, click the "Browse" button to locate your avi, flv, mov, mp4, mpg, mpg2 file. File size limitation is 100MB.

I've been told I'm ineligible to register. Why is that?

If you receive a message stating you are ineligible to register, please review our Terms of Use for information on account eligibility.

I forgot my username and/or password. How do I log back into the site?

If you forgot your password, click the "Account Info" tab click the "Forgot Password" link and enter your email address to retrieve it. If you forgot your username, click the "Account Info" tab click the "Forgot Username" link and enter your email address to retrieve it.

I'm having trouble signing in. What can I do?

As you begin the Sign Up process, if there are any problems with the information you've entered, an error box will appear at the top of the page. Below is some information that might help you work through the complications you're encountering:

Be creative when creating a username.
We recommend adding extra numbers or letters either to the end or the beginning of your desired username and you cannot use special characters or spaces.
Choose a good password.
Make sure that when you create your password and are asked to retype it that you use exactly the same type and case. Our current password requirement is a minimum of 6 characters and is case sensitive.
