Beat the heat

Updated: July 6, 2007
Even with scorching temperatures today many still chose to go outdoors. Howevern for tennis player David Litman, the sun and heat proved to be dangerous. " My muscles started cramping up, i was getting chills, but it was 100 degress out, " he describes. In fact, Litman had a heat stroke and since then knows a sip can go a long way. Other tips of course is wear sunblock and take cover. Charly Crawmer wears a hat covering his head and neck despite the heat.
Litman feels the bottom line for everyone, "if you're not in good enough shape, only stay out for 20 minutes, and only go out in the evening don't be some weekend warrior."
