Robbery Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

police badgeA man accused of robbing a local restaurant and hiding from police in a motel says he's not guilty. 18-year-old Jacob Morrissey appeared before a judge today entering a plea on burglary charges. Police say he's the main suspect in the robbery of the Mahomet McDonald's last Thursday. Morrissey was taken into custody after he and two women barricaded themselves inside a room at the Red Roof Inn Friday. He'll be back in court next month.
