A second child loses his life following a fatal accident last night near Fithian. It happened along a county road near Stearns cemetery. The Champaign County Coroner reports one- year-old Hunter Heer of Ogden died shortly after one this morning at Carle Hospital. Two-year-old Genevieve Heer died in the accident last night. Police say the children's father was driving eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle, hitting a bridge, which cut the car in half. The investigation into the crash continues.
