1/3-Zook expected to introduce Mike Schultz as O.C.

Updated: January 3, 2009
Champaign, Ill. - It appears Ron Zook has found his new offensive coordinator. Zook is expected to introduce TCU Offensive Coordinator Mike Schultz as Illinois new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Schultz has held that same position at TCU for the last 11 years, and he helped build the Horned Frogs into the nations 25th best offense this past season. But as one coach enters, another departs. Ron Zook has announced that Tom Sims will not return as defensive line coach next season. Sims came to Illinois with Zook in 2004, but Zook says Sims contract will not be renewed
