CHAMPAIGN - Four people steal a purse from a business on the U of I campus. Then two of the suspects use the stolen credit card and checks. In Crime Watch tonight, Police need your help to find these two women. The two were caught on camera leaving a local store after using the stolen card. The first suspect is described as a white woman, about 5-feet 5-inches tall, 200 pounds with red hair. The other is described as a black woman between 35 and 40 years old, 5-feet 8-inches tall and 200 pounds. Police believe they used the stolen checks at Best Buy in Champaign and Wal-Mart in Urbana. David Griffet from the Champaign Police Department says, "It's suspected and probable, the suspects created an I-D card of some sort to represent the same name on the checks." Griffet says, police do not have descriptions of the two men involved in the initial theft, which happened on March 31st.
