Holly Wyant

Updated: May 15, 2007
She and her "dream team" participated in the "Great Strides" walk at Hessel Park this past weekend to raise money for cystic fibrosis research. To get here Hollys fourth grade class at Gibson City Melvin Sibley Grade School had a bake sale. Amazingly they raised almost 900 dollars. Holly says theyre all kids to know and hopes this can lead to the end of her disease. "I want to find a cure for cystic fibrosis and Id like that because I dont like doing treatments that much," Wyant said. Hollys daily treatments include lung treatments for two hours and taking 14 pills. But shes a trooper and says its not that hard.
