More than 50 years ago a time capsule was filled with what was important to these kids. Now they're all grown up and looking back to the way things were.
"Well I was taller and thinner in the picture", one man said laughing.
"Fortunately maybe i think I've changed a little...Laughs."
Mary ellen was in third grade when these pictures were stored away. Now her grandson is in third grade and learning about what life was like when grandma was little.
"She looks a lot different than she does now and her hair was black not blonde." said her grandson Parker.
And he has all kinds of questions, "where did you have music at? Who was your p.E. Teacher?"
They are memories that have brought old classmates back together again.
"They are all basically the same as they were in 2nd grade," said one of the classmates.
The students say they have so many memories of walking down these halls more than 50 years ago but as time changes things can start do look a little different.
"Children today have a lot more stress than we did."
"It doesn't seem like we were ever in a hurry back then we just chugged along."
Things seems to move faster these days but they say taking the trip back in time helps them slow down and keeps them young at heart.
"It helps ya you know maybe for a couple of minutes you're younger than you actually are," remembers one man.
"Memories are probably the most important thing that we carry through in life with us."
