The Monticello School District says its doing everything it can to keep kids safe after a disturbing threat. Someone wrote "This will be Virginia Tech in 5 days" on a mirror in the girls bathroom. Parents got a letter about the threat Thursday. The school says it is on heightened security, and kids won't be able to leave campus during school hours until further notice. The FBI and Illinois State Police are also investigating the threat. Some people have been interviewed.. Officers are also offering a reward to find the person who made the threat. They say that person won't get off easy. Police chief John Miller says, "It's a very serious matter. Whoever did this will be arrested and prosecuted." Under school policy, if a student did it, he or she would be expelled.
