Champaign Woman Takes on Challenge from Oprah

Updated: March 26, 2007
oprahYou can help a woman from Champaign answer a challenge from Oprah. Lisa McDowell will be going to a taping of the show on Thursday. One of Oprah's producers called her challenging her to bring as many pairs of new pajamas with her. They'll go to needy children nationwide. It's to prove the power of one. McDowell can only buy one pair. The rest is up to us. The pajamas must be for kids up to 18 years old. If you would like to help, you can drop off the pajamas here at WCIA 3 on Neil Street. Her deadline to get them is Wednesday afternoon.
