Illini Fall to Virgina Tech, End Season

illiniCOLUMBUS, OH - It's was a rough night for Fighting Illini fans after a tough loss many say they didn't expect.

After trailing by as many as 13 points the Virgina Tech Hokies came from behind to beat the Illini in first round NCAA Tournament play Friday night. The loss means an end to the Illini's 23-12 season.
