CLINTON -- Two radio stations are off the air after a fire at their former transmitter building. The fire started at 4:15 pm Friday. Motorists saw smoke and alerted station personnel.

Three fire departments battled the flames. The building was a total loss.

WHOW and WEZC hope to be back on the air Saturday at low power. It will be several days before the stations are back at full power.
