Georgetown Man in Court on Sex Charges

McGeheeDANVILLE - A Georgetown man accused of sexually assaulting a one year old girl waived his preliminary hearing Thursday afternoon. 23-year-old Jeffrey McGehee's trial is set for May 4th.

McGehee has been held on a one-million dollar bond since his arrest last month. Prosecutors say the girl suffered permanent injuries and is partially paralyzed.

McGehee is charged with aggravated battery of a child and predatory criminal sexual assault of a child - both class "X" felonies.
