Students perform service during spring break

MONTICELLO -- Instead of partying somewhere in south Florida, some UI students are using spring break to give back to Mother Nature. They're beautifying Allerton Park by planting trees and painting parts of the grounds.
It's something they do every year. It gives students a chance to bond with the community. They hope for a 90 percent growth rate this year if they get enough rain.
