CUMBERLAND COUNTY -- A state fire investigator says two suspects admitted setting more than a dozen fires. Levi Barnes and Paul McCormick were arrested last month.

Police say they had been setting fires in abandoned homes in Greenup since June. An investigator says the pair confessed during interviews after their arrests. In court Tuesday, both pleaded not guilty.

They face a combined 79 counts of arson and burglary. Both are due back in court in April.
