LITTLETON, CO. -- As of Friday, Rod Blagojevich had officially been behind bars for one year of his 14-year sentence. The former governor's wife posted a note on her Facebook page to update people on how her husband is doing.

She says he's moved from scrubbing pots and pans to teaching a class on the Civil War. He's also learning how to play guitar.

Blagojevich says her husband is still running miles around the prison's track. An interview with one of the former governor's attorneys last year revealed that within just a month Blagojevich had already gained about 10 pounds of muscle.

Blagojevich was sentenced to 14-years in a low security federal prison in 2011. He's expected to serve about 12-years of that sentence.
