Car chase for wanted man

RANTOUL -- A wanted man got away after a car chase Tuesday. Police say it started about 10 am.

They saw Lawrence Lillard driving a yellow Chevrolet on Clark St. He has three warrants. Lillard sped off and a chase began on Route 45. It went across three counties.

Paxton schools were put on lock-down. Police stopped at the Ford County line. No arrests were made.
