UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- Hundreds of UI workers are still not back at work and no new contract talks are scheduled. Tuesday was the second day of a three-day walkout by more than 700 building and food service workers.

Among the stumbling blocks, wages and discipline. Workers plan to rally Wednesday at noon in hopes of pushing the university to make another offer. Leaders say their last offer over the weekend was fair.
