CHAMPAIGN -- People got to duck and dodge to help raise money for a cause. The University of Illinois' Kappa Delta Sorority hosted a dodge ball tournament.

The event is part of Shamrock Week to raise money for Crisis Nursery and Prevent Child Abuse America. The sorority has supported the Urbana-based Crisis Nursery for more than 25 years.

Organizers say several sorority members volunteer there, making it a cause close to their hearts. About 70 teams participated this year, with six people on each. About $18,000 was raised so far this year.
