SPRINGFIELD -- Last month, WCIA-3 News joined with the Better Government Association to take a closer look at state boards and commissions. Some were found to not be meeting while others were doubling up on the same work, costing taxpayers millions each year.

Wednesday, Governor Quinn announced he'll issue an executive order to eliminate 75 boards and commissions. Quinn hasn't said which boards are on the chopping block.
