DANVILLE -- New stores are bringing new life to the city. Kohl's had its grand opening Wednesday on Vermilion Street. More than 100 jobs were added at the store.

A new Meijer is also being built nearby. City leaders say workers plan to start building a TJ Maxx in between the stores sometime this week.

Kohl's store manager says more stores could mean more business for them. Other businesses have also been proposed for the same area, but plans haven't been finalized yet.
