Sign up starting for Junior Police Academy

DANVILLE -- The police department is offering its 2013 Junior Citizen's Police Academy class for students in 6th - 8th grades who live or go to school in the city. The academy starts Tuesday, April 2.

Applications are due Monday, March 25 and are available at PSB, Northridge Middle School and Southview Middle School. The class, in its 8th year, is free of charge. It's sponsored by the Danville Police Department and the Danville Police Association PB & PA Unit 11.
