CHAMPAIGN -- The father of an Illinois football player is arrested for a second time. Nate Creer, father of quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase, was arrested in January after police say he showed up at his ex-girlfriend's house uninvited.

He was arrested again this weekend for violating an order of protection. The State's Attorney says he followed his ex-girlfriend to three different bars. When she would leave, he reportedly followed her in his car.

Creer is due back in court at the end of the month. The judge will decide if he should wear an ankle monitor.

Was it really necessary to link this man to his son? Why on earth does anyone need to know that information? Shame on you for not taking that young man's feelings into account. I am sure he was embarrassed enough, then this. Shame on you.
