CHATHAM -- Some school libraries are getting a little extra cash. It's all thanks to Secretary of State Jesse White.

His office is giving out nearly $1.4 million. That money will be divided among 642 schools.

On the list, Glenwood Intermediate School. The librarian says she couldn't be happier. She says a little help can really go a long way.

Ball-Chatham School District is getting about $3,000. The Secretary of State awards the grant every year.
