Lawmakers working on cellphone ban

SPRINGFIELD -- State lawmakers want you to put your cellphone down behind the wheel. Friday, the house passed a bill to ban handheld cellphones. Lawmakers say they're just too dangerous.

A similar bill passed the house last year, but never made it to the senate. The senate president believes a ban on cellphones in cars is likely in Illinois.
