CHICAGO -- Illinois will soon be home to the biggest park in the country. It's called the Millennium Reserve.

The 140,000 acre park will be on the south side of Chicago. It includes a trail, fishing and beach space. The project comes with a nearly $7-million price tag and is funded through state and federal dollars.

Comments

It appears the state is not broke after all. How about making part of the park a campground for the homeless......since the shelters are getting closed??
