SPRINGFIELD -- The newe contract state workers will consider next week is a 3-year deal covering nearly 40,000 workers. Reports say they will get pay raises annually, starting with the 2% they lost in 2011.

But, workers will have to pay more for health insurance. Union members still have to look over the details and approve the deal.
