Unusual spending spurs audit

PAXTON -- The Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department is undergoing a special audit. It's because of suspicious spending in its Employee Wellness Program.
Bills add up to more than $1,000 for floral arrangements. They also expensed $500 in gift cards and more than 50 checks to different restaurants. The Iroquois County Board chairman says the investigation is turning up other questions which are now being looked into.
