CHAMPAIGN-URBANA -- The night before "Unofficial," businesses are getting as prepared as possible. Workers at Den's Liquors were making sure the place was stocked.

Owner, Nick Patel, says he's making sure his employees know the rules, but for them, "Unofficial" started Tuesday. They've seen more traffic and a boost in sales since then. However, he says the most important thing they're doing is making sure people know they're open for business all week.

"I love it's time to make money, and we have to be on top of our game just like the ID thing make sure we are open, everyone knows we are open, we are advertising the right products and make sure the pricing is right," says Patel.

Mayors of both Champaign and Urbana have issued rules limiting alcohol sales for the weekend. No alcohol can be sold before 10 am Friday.
