New discount food store to open

CHARLESTON -- More jobs are coming to Coles County. Ruler Foods is building a store on Lincoln Avenue. It's a discount food store which is part of Kroger.

The store is expected to bring about 30 jobs to the area. Charleston Mayor John Ingart says the company has applied for a permit to build. The store is set to open in May.
