Gun debate postpones action on other issues

SPRINGFIELD -- Because the concealed-carry debate is taking so long, lawmakers weren't able to address other business of the day. A house committee was scheduled to meet to vote on gay marriage Tuesday afternoon.

The committee was delayed because of the gun debate. It's unclear when that hearing might be rescheduled.
