Police presence planned for Unofficial

Expect to see 115-officers from multiple departments on foot or driving around campus. At a press conference Tuesday, authorities stated the coverage will start 5 am Friday.
Officials will be cracking down on house and apartment parties. Police say that's where the most people get hurt or property damaged.
Patrols will be watching for overcrowded balconies as well. The speed limit on campus will drop to 25 miles per hour to help with traffic.
Bars are also under stricter regulations. No one under 21 is allowed in, and police say there will be zero tolerance when it comes to violations of any kind, especially alcohol.
Police aren't the only ones preparing for the weekend. UI's Office of the Provost is putting together a group of volunteers to help keep classes running smoothly Friday.
They include professionals from UI's Student and Academic Affairs offices. They're expected to monitor buildings on UI's quad and assist faculty facing disturbance issues.
