Paul a candidate for National Player of the Year

CHAMPAIGN - An Illinois basketball player got some national recognition today.

Brandon Paul has been named one of 30 candidates for the Naismith Award, given to college basketball's National Player of the Year.  Paul leads the team with 16 points per game.

He is one of six Big Ten players on the list.  You can see the complete list here.
