URBANA -- Champaign County Clerk's office is getting ready for Tuesday's primary. It will be a low-profile election with only democrats on the ballot.

Only two races are listed; one for Urbana mayor, the other for Urbana city clerk. Because of that, not too much prep work taking place in Champaign County. Clerk Gordy Hulten says it will be just like November's election, but on a much smaller scale.

In November, 600 election judges were brought on board. Tuesday, they'll only bring in 60; a tenth of November's. Much smaller numbers across the board.

The election judges have already been trained. They'll be at polling places at 5 am.

Polls for the democratic primary open at 6 am and close at 7 pm. The only people who need photo ID's are first-time voters who registered online.
