K9 officer back on the job

MACON COUNTY -- A K-9 police officer is back on the job after being hit by a car. Athos was hurt while chasing a suspect during a drug bust.

He lost a tooth and suffered damage to another. He had surgery a couple times and needed a few weeks for recovery. Now, he's as good as new.

Athos is three years old. Police dogs usually work until they're about 10-years old.
