Albaugh hired as Central football coach

Updated: February 22, 2013
CHAMPAIGN - Central High School has picked Nate Albaugh to be the Maroons' new head varsity football coach.  Albaugh comes to Champaign after two separate stints as head head coach in Milford.

Albaugh spent the last two years as head coach at Milford/Cissna Park.  Before that he spent a year at Alton High School.  Prior to his time at Alton, Albaugh coached at Milford from '08-'09.  Albaugh led Milford to two playoff appearances in his four years. Albaugh went 2-7 in his one season at Alton (Sr.).

Albaugh replaces interim head coach Brett Roberts, who was not retained after going 0-9 last season.
