Husband gets probation for murder plot

DECATUR -- A man charged with hiring a hit man to kill his wife will spend 30-months on probation as part of a plea deal. Steven Gensler will also undergo mental health treatment because of the incident.

He has been in jail since his arrest in June. As part of the deal, he pleaded guilty to several felony charges including unlawful restraint. He will also have to comply with an order of protection.
