Illini baseball schedule change

GREENVILLE, N.C. (UI Release) - Due to potential inclement weather in the area this weekend, East Carolina head baseball coach Billy Godwin announced schedule changes for the 10th Annual Keith LeClair Classic. Illinois is now slated to play Ohio at 9 a.m. CT on Friday morning. The contest between the Illini and Bobcats was originally scheduled for noon CT.

Friday, Feb. 22
9 A.M. - Ohio vs. Illinois
* 1 P.M. - New Mexico State vs. Ohio
* 5 P.M. - Boston College vs. East Carolina
* Times are central and approximate. Games will begin 45 minutes after the end of the previous game.

The rest of the 2013 Keith LeClair Classic schedule will be revised based on potential weather forecasts. Illini fans should stay tuned to www.fightingillini.com and follow @IlliniBaseball on Twitter for daily updates.

Illinois is still scheduled to play East Carolina today at 4 p.m. CT in the opening game of the tournament.
