DECATUR -- The community is coming together to stop the violence. Many are fed up after two people were killed in December.

One victim was Jarvis Thomas. The 21-year-old was shot to death in Galloway Park.

Wednesday, dozens turned out for a community meeting at the public library. Together, they talked about ways to end the violence.

One man thinks churches should get more involved. Others suggested creating more programs for at-risk youth and putting more police on the streets.
