troopsDANVILLE - More than a dozen men and women of the 322nd Quartermaster Battalion were honored for their service overseas. The ceremony was held at Danville Area Community College this afternoon.

The formerly deployed Army Reserve Soldiers and their families honored in the Welcome Home Warrior Citizen ceremony received an encased U.S. flag, a Welcome Home Warrior Citizen flag and a specially designed commemorative coin and lapel set for the Soldier and spouse.

Organizers say events like this are crucial to show the community what Reservists do and continue to do, to protect the lives of so many.
