Sportsplex sketch shows serious commitment

CHAMPAIGN -- The latest sketch shows a better idea of what a multimillion dollar sports complex could look like. It includes an indoor training center and dozens of sports fields. Plus, there's a hotel and even a stadium for a minor league baseball team.

Developers say the project will bring in millions of dollars for the area, but they'll need to finish securing their own funding first. They say they have about a quarter of the money needed to start. They hope to break ground on the complex later this year.
