VERMILION COUNTY -- Sunrise Coal still plans to open a mine in East Central Illinois. The project depends on finding enough water.

Company leaders say they're looking at several options. They were hoping to buy water from the Village of Homer, but that idea was rejected by the town.

No word where the company is now looking for water, but it still hopes to open in 2014. It could bring 300 jobs to the area.
