CHAMPAIGN -- Thousands of people are coming to town for this weekend's high school wrestling tournament. The state championships have been at Assembly Hall the past 40-years.

People who came to town last year spend about $5.5 million during that one weekend. It includes money spent on gas, hotels and restaurants.

Organizers with the Champaign County Convention and Visitors Bureau say February is usually a pretty slow time for people to visit the area. To check out the action this weekend, buy tickets at Assembly Hall or watch highlights right here on WCIA-3 News.
