Former jail could become nonprofit headquarters

PAXTON -- A preservation group may take over an historic building. The Paxton Foundation wants to buy the former Ford County Jail for $10.

The nonprofit group wants to make the building its headquarters. Village board members are expected to vote on the sale in March.
