Hand Grenade Found

The area where a hand grenade was discovered in Springfield is now reopened. Police closed off the area near First Street and Bonnie Court this morning after getting a report of the weapon in the area. Police say a jogger noticed the device and reported it. An explosives recovery unit was called to the scene and recovered the device without any incident just after 8:00 this morning.
