CHAMPAIGN -- C-U at Home is calling "One Winter Night" a success. Seventy-five people spent the night outside in cardboard boxes on February 1, both on the UI Quad and in downtown Champaign.

The event helped raise awareness about homelessness in Central Illinois. Two hundred volunteers helped make it possible and helped C-U at Home meet its fundraising goal of $50,000.

If you'd still like to donate, the deadline is Friday, February 15. Visit this site for more information. Next year's "One Winter Night" is scheduled for February 7, 2014.
