HOMER -- The mayor wants the village board to take another look at a controversial contract. Sunrise Coal wants to buy water from the village to use for coal processing, but the board voted the deal down Monday night.

Mayor David Lucas says he'll take another look at the contract in March. He wants to talk with board members who voted against it to see if changes can be made for the vote to be passed.
