Governor Quinn receives federal grant

SPRINGFIELD -- People with disabilities may have more housing options in Illinois thanks to a federal grant. The state is getting about $12 million.

That money will make apartment rent a lot cheaper. Advocates say people with special needs should live independently too. However, some say that's hard to do since they're on fixed incomes.
