HARRISTOWN -- Firefighters were called to the 7700-block of West Main Street Monday morning. A neighbor reported a fire, worried it may spread due to strong winds.

The owners were home, but didn't know about the fire until crews woke them when they arrived. The fire started in the shed, which is used as a dog kennel.

One dog was killed in the fire. The cause is still under investigation, but arson has been ruled out.
