Volunteer of the Year recognized

DANVILLE -- "Downtown Danville Incorporated" revealed its Volunteer of the Year. The group promotes events and businesses in town.

Tuesday, it hosted an appreciation breakfast for all the volunteers at Vermilion Place. This year's big award goes to Patricia Bowers.

Her help with the Fischer Theater, CASA and the Taste of Downtown Danville, made her Volunteer of the Year. The Vermilion Heritage Foundation also used the ceremony to thank other volunteers.
